I have a very serious question that I would like to explore, and hear different opinions and answers on.
What do you do when you want to help someone who doesn't want the help?
You want to help them so bad, but they keep rejecting your help. What do you do?
Well. What do you guys think?
I've run into this problem a fair amount in my past. I'm not quite sure of the answer, but I think it's best to try to help them in the most subtle way possible. Help them without making it seem like help.
ReplyDeleteI think it depends on what kind of a person they are and what type of situation it is. Could you explain it more, maybe? Or, if it's too private, just tell it very briefly and vaguely?
ReplyDeleteIt's not really my situation. It's a situation that happened in the past, and I'm wondering now what was the best thing I could've done at that time.
ReplyDeleteSay something bad is happening to your friend. Perhaps someone is doing something bad to him. You have knowledge of this, and keep urging your friend to do something about it. Maybe call the police, or never do something again, or something. But your friend doesn't want to call the police. He feels his life would get too hectic with social security things and the press and whatnot.
But you really, really know that what is happening to them is unfair.
Is that a good enough description?
